Flügel der Versöhnung

The Wings of Reconciliation seek connection instead of division, reconciliation instead of revenge. A person who spreads their arms in a "wing gesture" is ready to welcome another, to embrace something new and unfamiliar with trust. They are unarmored, open to embrace. Someone who thinks differently, speaks differently, believes differently, and loves differently—someone with a different skin color, a different history, a different hope— Does that person not also deserve our respect and recognition? I believe they do. Why should we not try to meet one another with understanding, respect, and recognition— without judgment, with open arms, with the wings of reconciliation within us?
