Blüte für zwei alte Akazienstämme

Project: "Blossom for Two Old Acacia Trunks – Fountain at the Confluence of Eisack and Rienz" This project is dedicated to two old acacia trunks, whose impressive remains reach up to five meters in height. The acacia trunks stand along the well-trodden right bank of the Eisack River, near the Widmann Bridge. The title of the project, "Blossom for Two Old Acacia Trunks – Fountain at the Confluence of Eisack and Rienz," expresses the spirit and vision behind my artistic intention: To embrace the inevitability of decay while simultaneously creating an artwork that celebrates life. Life and death have always belonged together. At the feet of these dying trees, a large, powerful blossom now grows. It once again reveals the dignity inherent in these old trunks, while at the same time leading us toward a joyful, life-affirming future full of hope. The water flowing from the blossom symbolizes the all-encompassing force of life, which nourishes our deepest hopes.
